As much as we all love being in a gated community for the security reasons it also brings some frustration if the gates break. Here are some tips on what to do.
Push the button again if…
- It doesn’t work the first time.
- The gate is halfway open and not moving
Drive your car as close to the gate as possible (slowly) if…
- Your remote fails to work many times and you are inside the gate.
- You don’t have a remote.
Try to manually push the gate open if…
- The power is out.
- If both driving up to the gate and getting your remote as close as possible to the box don’t work.
- If all else fails.
Get a board member to turn it off and push it open if all else fails.
